We're stoked to welcome AutoOne to the James' Trimmings family as our dedicated car-care marketplace partner.
AutoOne — Australia's auto parts and car care retailer — is now running three months of free advertising across the platform, helping connect our car detailing pros and customers with quality parts, detailing supplies and accessories at autoone.com.au.
As part of the partnership, admins can now manage an AutoOne product catalog (mirroring our Bunnings, FlowerPower and Gardening Magazine marketplaces) ready for live product sync once partner API access is set up.
James' Trimmings now spans all three trades — gardening, cleaning and car detailing — under one trusted marketplace. Whether it's the lawn out the front, the housework inside, or the car in the driveway, we've got a vetted local pro for that.
Cheers,
The James' Trimmings team
Latest from the shed — welcome emails, Bunnings & FlowerPower news & better pro care
Pinned Security reviewed
By James' Trimmings Team · August 20, 2026
G'day from the James' Trimmings family to yours.
A quick roundup of what's just landed on the platform as we keep on beta testing out in the market.
1. A proper welcome when you're approved
From today, the moment our team approves a new pro or advertiser account, a confirmation email lands in your inbox — with the right next steps for your role. Pros get a hand setting up their listing, services and territory; advertisers get a guide to putting their first campaign live. No more guessing what to do next — we walk you through it.
2. We're working on becoming a Bunnings and FlowerPower seller
Big news — we've put our hand up to sell on both the Bunnings and FlowerPower marketplaces. Both run closed marketplaces, so they review and approve every seller first; once we're given the green light we'll be able to list garden gear and supplies right alongside our pros' services. We've also built a FlowerPower catalog manager in the admin console so we're ready to list products the moment partner access comes through. We'll keep you posted here as that comes together.
3. Better care for our pros behind the scenes
We've tidied up the back office so our team can see each pro's full story at a glance — jobs, reviews, awards, discounts, invoices and tax activity all in one place. It means quicker, fairer support when you reach out, and a better view of how everyone's travelling.
These updates are live in market now as we continue beta testing with our growing community of pros, homeowners, advertisers and partners across Australia. New features land regularly, so keep the feedback coming — we read every word.
Cheers,
The James' Trimmings family
James's Trimmings is pursuing ISO certification
Pinned Security reviewed
By James's Trimmings Team · July 24, 2026
G'day everyone, a quick update from the James's Trimmings family.
We want to be upfront that we don't hold ISO certification yet. We're currently pursuing it as part of our commitment to keeping your data, payments and the platform as secure and well-run as possible.
Where we're at:
- We're working through the ISO certification process and expect to complete it in the coming months
- In the meantime, your personal details and credentials stay encrypted at rest and access stays role-based
- Our booking, payment and insurance-declaration processes are being documented against the standard
- We'll update the community here once certification is formally achieved
We're still in market and beta testing, so we reckon it's only fair to be honest about where things stand rather than overstate it. As always, if you spot anything that doesn't look right, reach out via the Help page or feedback form and we'll get onto it.
Thanks for being part of the community and growing with us,
The James's Trimmings family
We've run our latest security scan — here's the news

G'day everyone, just a quick update from the James's Trimmings team.
As part of keeping your details safe and sound, we've just run the latest round of security scanning across the whole platform. We're happy to report that all user credentials remain encrypted at rest, our role-based access controls are holding firm, and no issues were flagged in this pass.
A few things the scan confirmed are working well:
- Homeowner, pro and advertiser data stays separated so no one can see what's not theirs
- Feedback, reports and insurer/supplier inquiries remain admin-only
- Advertiser agreements and pro agreements are gating the right accounts
- Booking and payment flows stay on-platform, including the per-completed-job fee model
We're still in market and beta testing, so please keep the feedback coming — it genuinely helps us tighten things up. If you spot anything that doesn't look right, drop a line via the Help page or the feedback form and we'll look into it straight away.
Thanks for being part of the community and helping us grow responsibly,
The James's Trimmings family
New Pro & Advertiser Agreements — and what they mean for you
Pinned Security reviewed
By James' Trimmings · July 21, 2026
G'day from the James' Trimmings family to yours.
We've been working hard behind the scenes today and wanted to share a couple of changes that make our community safer and fairer for everyone.
1. Pro Agreement at sign-up
From today, every new pro (mower, gardener or landscaper) agrees to our Pro Agreement when they create their listing. It spells out the simple rules of the road in plain English — operating as an independent contractor, holding your own public liability insurance, paying a small percentage per completed job (never a monthly subscription), keeping all job payments on-platform, and running your own team under your own ABN. A checklist you can read in seconds, then tick to confirm.
2. Advertiser Agreement at sign-up
Advertisers now agree to our Advertiser Agreement before they can subscribe and put their first ad live. It covers the things that matter — being authorised to use your brand's logos and copy, keeping ads lawful and compliant with Australian advertising standards, the $2/month subscription keeping ads live, and honest play on clicks and impressions.
Both agreements are about keeping James' Trimmings a good, honest spot for Aussie homeowners, pros and brands alike — the kind of marketplace a mum-and-dad business can be proud to be part of.
These updates are live in market now as we continue beta testing with our growing community. New features land regularly, so keep the feedback coming — we read every word.
Cheers,
The James' Trimmings family
Bring your own insurance — and only pay when a job's done

G'day from the James' Trimmings family to yours.
We've been beavering away behind the scenes and wanted to share a couple of changes we reckon you'll love — both designed to keep more coin in your pocket and make life on the tools a touch simpler.
1. Declare your own insurance
Pros can now hold and declare their existing public liability cover right on their listing — insurer, cover level, policy number and expiry. You keep your own broker, homeowners can see you're properly sorted, and we don't sell you a thing. Head to your dashboard to add your details.
2. No monthly fees — ever
We've scrapped monthly subscriptions for good. From now on, the platform takes just a small percentage of each completed job. If you're not working, you're not paying. Simple as that.
These updates are live in market now as we continue beta testing with our growing community of pros, homeowners, advertisers and partners across Australia. New features are landing regularly, so please keep the feedback coming — we read every word.
Cheers,
The James' Trimmings family
G'day from James & Penny — we're open and beta testing!

Hello you lovely lot,
Jenny and I (that's James behind the mower and Penny on the laptop) just wanted to pop in and say a huge thank you for bearing with us while we get James' Trimmings shipshape. We're still very much in market and beta testing — so you might spot the odd rough edge, a button that's still finding its feet, or a feature we're quietly polishing. If you do, give us a holler on the Contact page; we genuinely read every message and your feedback is shaping what we build next.
Here's a rundown of the new bits we've just switched on for you:
🌿 Pro onboarding — a step-by-step guide to sign up securely, list your services and manage your profile safely. If you're a mower, gardener or landscaper keen to join the crew, head to 'Pro Onboarding' and we'll walk you through it like a neighbour over the fence.
🛡️ Insurance partner program — we're inviting public liability insurers to offer cover to our pros. Know a good one? Point them to 'Insurer Partners'.
🚜 Supplier & service-provider program — nurseries, hire yards, turf, mulch, fertiliser and tool brands, we'd love to have you on board. Pop over to 'Supplier Partners' and register your interest.
🔒 Security & privacy commitments — we've spelled out exactly how we look after your data: hashed passwords, Stripe-handled payments, minimal data collection and email verification on sign-up.
🛠️ Admin oversight — our little back office now watches over users, pros, advertisers, reports, feedback, news, insurer and supplier inquiries so nothing slips through the cracks.
This is still a family-run gig and we're mighty chuffed to have you along for the ride. Come have a poke around, try a booking, drop us a review, or send a mate our way. The more of you who jump in during the beta, the better this gets for everyone.
Much love,
James & Penny

Garden suppliers & service providers — we'd love to stock our pros with you

G'day suppliers,
From nurseries and equipment hire yards to seed, turf, mulch, fertiliser, landscaping supplies and power-tool brands — if you've got something our pros and their customers need, we'd love to hear from you.
We've opened a Supplier & Service-Provider Program. Jump over to 'Supplier Partners', tell us what you supply and where you service, and we'll add you to our outreach list. During the beta we're hand-curating a directory of reliable Aussie suppliers and passing genuine inquiries your way.
Still a family business, still fumbling through the fancy bits, but getting there — and chuffed to have you along.
Warm regards,
James & Penny

Hi there,
Jenny and James here. We're on the hunt for insurance partners who'd like to offers public liability, products liability and tools & equipment cover to our growing mob of self-employed mowers, gardeners and landscapers.
We've just flicked the switch on a brand-new Insurance Partner Program. If you're an insurer (or you know one) who fancies putting tailored policies in front of 500+ Aussie lawn-care pros, head to 'Insurer Partners' and register your interest. Our partnerships team — that's us, flipping the bangers and reading your email — will be in touch.
We're still market testing the program, so early partners get to help shape how it all works. Come say g'day!
Cheers,
James & Penny
